The great news is that all services provided to students are free within the public school system! There is a lot of mystery around special education and how to qualify for services. There’s also a lot of fear around children being labeled for both students and parents. Having your child in special education is a process and also a personal decision. They will discuss the factors to consider when navigating this process.
The most important thing that parents and caregivers can do is advocate for their child.
