Communicating Clearly: Understanding when your child needs support with speech or language with Meredith Woodring, MS, CCC-SLP

Today Meredith and Bryce will be talking about the indicators that might suggest that a child may benefit from speech therapy. They will explore common speech and language developmental milestones (there’s not just one standard so keep in mind this is variable) as well as red flags to watch for. They will emphasize the importance of early intervention. Meredith will talk about the variety of roles that a speech and language pathologist can play and the importance of being able to communicate yourself. Speech therapy can support the development of communication skills, and confidence, and improve their social and academic skills. Join us as we talk about the journey of seeking and embracing speech therapy for children with care and understanding.
